Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) IgG Antibody Diagnostic Kit (ELISA)

Intended Use

2019-nCoV diagnostic kit is used for the qualitative detection of novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) antibodies in human whole blood, serum and plasma.

Coronavirus (CoV) belongs to the order Nestivirus, Coronaviridae, and divided into three genera: α, β, and γ. The alpha and beta gene are only pathogenic to mammals. The gamma gene mainly causes bird infections. CoV is mainly transmitted through direct contact with secretions or through aerosols and droplets. There is also evidence that it can be transmitted through the fecal-oral route.

There have been seven types of human coronavirus (HCoV-229E, HCoVOC43, SARS-CoV, HCoV-NL63, HCoV-HKU1, MERS-CoV and 2019-nCoV), which are important pathogens of human respiratory tract infection. Among them, the new coronavirus (2019-nCoV) was found for 2019 cases of viral pneumonia in Wuhan. The clinical manifestations are systemic symptoms such as fever, fatigue, dry cough, dyspnea, which can quickly develop into severe pneumonia, respiratory failure, acute Respiratory distress syndrome, toxic shock, multiple organ failure, severe acid-base metabolism disorders and even life-threatening.

This product can be used for qualitative detection of novel coronavirus IgG antibodies in human serum, and can be used for clinical auxiliary diagnosis or epidemiological monitoring of primary coronavirus infection of new coronavirus infection.

Test Principle

This product is composed of a coated plate (anti-FITC antibody), reagent 1
(FITC-labeled novel coronavirus recombinant antigen), reagent 2 (horseradish peroxidase-labeled mouse anti-human IgG monoclonal antibody), negative control, positive control and and other necessities, using the principle of indirect method to detect novel coronavirus IgG antibodies in human serum.

This kit uses the principle of indirect method to detect novel coronavirus IgG antibodies in human serum. Reagent 1 is added to the microwell, and FITC-labeled novel coronavirus recombinant antigen forms a complex with the anti-FITC antibody in the microwell. If the sample contains the novel coronavirus IgG antibody, it is combined with the complex and then wash away the free components.

The chemiluminescence substrate solution was added, and the horseradish
peroxidase catalyzed the substrate solution to determine the luminescence value (RLU) of each sample tube. The luminescence value of the sample was positively correlated with the IgG antibody concentration of the novel coronavirus, so as to detect the IgG antibody of the novel coronavirus in human serum.
